Our Autumn Learning
Miss Fisher and Miss Nasri are so excited to welcome the new Reception children to Lent Rise School! We will enjoy getting to know our new classroom and friends, as well as learning what our new routines will be and adapting to the school day. We will be beginning our topic of 'Me and My Family', where we will discuss what our community means to us, and who belongs to our family. This topic will involve exploring our family tree, as well as creating self- portraits and other exciting creative artwork. During the term, we will begin to engage in some interactive phonics lessons, as well as practical math's lessons, where we will develop our understanding of the composition of numbers to 5.
