Today we discussed in assembly time "what makes us happy about Lent Rise School?"
Below are a few reasons to smile that Key Stage 1 pupils shared...
- "we are active, we get to play and learning is fun" (year 1 pupil)
- "It is the best school because you get to learn lots of things" ~(year 1 pupil)
- "You get to make friends and see them everyday" ~(Early Years pupil)
- "I love all of my lessons because we do fun things" ~(year 2 pupil)
- "We have fun PE lessons and learn about health, I especially like tennis"
- "W have lots of computers and we get to use our own ICT suite" ~(year 1 pupil)
- "I like counting numbers and I am really good at numeracy" ~(year 1 pupil)
- "This school is special because we have lots of toys" ~(Early Years pupil)
- "We don't fight at school, we are friendly and happy" ~(Early Years pupil)
- "We share nicely with each other" ~(year 2 pupil)
- "The teachers are always smiling" ~(Early Years pupil)
- "We have lots of friends in our school" ~(year 1 pupil)

- "When someone is sad we all do something to make them smile" ~(year 2 pupil)
