A group of Year 4 students were invited to brighten up Sainsburys in Taplow while refurbishments are taking place. Pupils added a splash of colour to the protective walls for contractors on Wednesday 11 June.
We were really pleased to be invited to participate in this exciting project and the children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
The work will be entered into a national competition run by the Considerate Constructors Scheme to find the most attractive building site.
"We were delighted with the enthusiasm from the children and teachers," said Alan Archer, project manager for contractor Longcross Construction.
“It was a brilliant morning and everyone was having fun."
