Early Years "People Who Help us Week"

18th October 2013

The Early Years children have had some very special visitors this week. This is what some of the children had to say about their day.

Monday-  "We had the Firemen come to see us with their fire engine. It was so much fun watching our teachers get dressed up like real Fire and Rescue people! We got to look at all the different equipment on the engine and even had a sneaky peak inside!"

Tuesday- "We had a Policeman come to see us. He brought all of his special hats that he has to wear and we were allowed to try them on!"

Wednesday- "We had a nurse come to chat. She showed us how to put bandages on each other which was lots of fun!"

Thursday- "We had our lollipop lady visit. She explained how we must always be sensible and look both ways before we cross the road".

Miss Penney said " We have had such a fantastic learning opportunity this week with all of our visitors. The children absolutely loved the interaction with these important people in the community and were so keen to try each activity. Thank you so much to all those involved some excellent memories have been made!"
