Pupil Premium Funding

Pupil Premium Funding

The Department for Education Pupil Premium Grant is allocated to schools for children of statutory school age from families who are known to be eligible for Free School Meals, children in long term looked after care and to children whose parents serve in the armed forces. The grant may be spent by maintained schools as they see fit, therefore, for the purposes of the school; that is to say for the educational benefit of pupils registered at that school, or for the benefit of pupils registered at other maintained schools; and on community facilities that they benefit the pupils in the community.

From September 2012 we are required to publish information on how we use the pupil premium funding and the benefits it brings.

Our named Pupil Premium Governor is Pauline Muldoon. Our Pupil Premium in school lead for 2023-24 is Keeley Vessey.

Our Pupils, Standards and Curriculum Committee review all aspects of Pupil Premium at Lent Rise School.
