Eggciting Discovery at Lent Rise

News

17th July 2013

There were eggstroadinary scenes today at Lent Rise School as a giant egg was discovered on the school playing field. The mystery egg which was spotted by two of the school’s flower watering team was surrounded by feathers, a small amount of straw and a broken tree branch.  After contacting the Museum of Strange objects , the school do not believe that the egg is dangerous, but the area has been cordoned off as a precaution.

The children were very excited to find the egg and there has been much speculation around if the egg will hatch and what could come from an egg that size.  Mrs Watson is currently seeking eggspert advice and the Museum are hoping to send out a representative to investigate further.
