During the first half of the summer term in Reception, we will be exploring the themes of ‘People Who Help Us’ and ‘Past and Present’. We are looking forward to welcoming a range of visitors from the local community who will be sharing how they help us. Then as we prepare for our trip to Bekonscot we will be discovering how different types of transport have changed over time.
For our last term in Reception, our topic will be ‘Growth and Change’. We will explore the lifecycles of different plants and animals as well as look at how we have changed over the year.
In maths, we will begin working with numbers to 20, recapping 2D shape and repeating patterns and learning all about 3D shapes.
